I am on my second FR945. The first one I had zero issues with, related to the band at least.
My replacement I got last summer. In less than 6th months the banded showed noticeable wear (far more than on the previous unit I wore for longer). I have also experienced skin irritation from the band and not sure why. It has gotten worse over time, to the point I need to wipe it down with alcohol daily to avoid what appears to be an allergic reaction (rash).
Previously I would clean it sometime between every week to month. Now it could be multiple times a day, even using a q-tip to get into the slits on the band. The band never looks truly clean, has a lot of wear, even though I have actually don't significant less since I got it due to COVID (and Winter).
Does anyone have a better cleaning suggestion or a band replacement suggestion?
