the change log from the beta is exactly the same, but I wonder if there are still some improvements made In the final release in comparison to the beta version.
Just asking for a friend;-)

Differences from the beta version only in the addition of language packs for displaying new widgets in the clock's native language. The rest of the innovations are unchanged from beta 6.85.
If something new was added I'm sure it would be listed. If they made a minor tweak to something listed in the beta it really doesn't change anything that was listed in the beta as far as a user is…
I'm getting 1.1% battery drain 2 days left at 57% I hope this update fixes it
it is still operated by Garmin and there is also the possibility that someone from Garmin can give the answer.
If you want to be certain of an answer (or as certain as you can be) contact Garmin Support directly, Despite what you might think, this is essentially a user forum although Garmin will chip in from time to time likely when they deem a subject to be important.
Didn't really understand in the beta why you had to click into the sleep widget on watch for the sleep data to synced to and be displayed by the app. Is this still needed in 7.10?
This isn't the case for me. On waking in the morning I've not touched the watch buttons but synced the watch and app and the sleep data is not shown in the app display at all. In fact I've synced it several times and it will not appear until I've viewed the sleep data via the widget on the watch.
I am slowly getting the impression that I am being misunderstood here
Not really. You should have pointed the question directly to Garmin or use a different medium.
Also if you are just "asking for a friend", why would Garmin use resources to answer your question? And even if not.
Start going through some ticket system which tickets to answer your question? Is there something that they even want to say publicly. Eg. How many times have you seen any explanations for the bugs?
I feel you are being unreasonable and that's not information Garmin has used to say publicly.
also the possibility that someone from Garmin can give the answer.
Of course there is possibility that I will start getting raw diamonds out of my body, but it's pretty slim in my opinion. What would be your guess for the possibility that happening?
I also think that I received an update without noticing it, because now the sleep widget is in my language (German) before it was English, but the firmware is still 6.85. Only the Sensor Hub Version now shows 8.0.
The updates I got were just language packs, which sounds like it's what you got. The Sensor Hub and main FR945 firmware are still both stalled at 10%.
I was on beta 6.85 then I received the update that I thought was to 7.10 but after the watch restarted I still see version 6.85 on the device... not sure if It's a bug or if my upgrade was not successfully
