Garmin-Brooks please correct change log for Software Update 7.10 because at this moment it looks like change log from version 6.20 ;)
Hi All,
I don't know how the rest of lucky or unlucky users of new 7.10 firmware, but in my case after over 1 week different tests, everything seems to be OK - no crashes, no freezes, all needed functionalities…
Sorry about that' it's corrected now.
Hi,
no issues for me on new 7.10 version. Sleep tracking directly on device works correct, saving activity works correct, LAP button works, battery seems to be OK as on previous firmware - 0,1% /hour in…
Same problems here with recording the activities; in addition to that the watch forgets the language (french) and switches to English only minutes after changing it; it forgets the gps setting (switches to gps+glonass minutes after setting it to gps+galileo); the funniest issue is that due to the trainings it didn't record the 5k prediction dropped from 20:14 yesterday to 20:18 after my run today; connection to garmin express by usb not possible any more, no matter how many times I reset the watch and restartet the pc
I haven't seen any problems saving activities but was a little surprised to be told by the watch I'd gotten a PB for 1k, 1 mile & 5k after an easy run after work. Looks like it dumped whatever my previous figures were, not something that I care much about but guess a 'feature' of 7.10 as well.
Hi All,
I don't know how the rest of lucky or unlucky users of new 7.10 firmware, but in my case after over 1 week different tests, everything seems to be OK - no crashes, no freezes, all needed functionalities work correct, battery with the same performance - approx. 10-11 days with running workout everyday (1:15-1:30h per day) with Stryd and HRM-Pro connected via ANT+
Apart from the disappearance of the PB's for various distances, haven't seen any issues with it either, using a Stryd & a Polar OHR. Given how long the rollout has been stuck at 25% I'd assume Garmin are concerned about something however.
