Software Update 7.10

Garmin-Brooks please correct change log for Software Update 7.10 because at this moment it looks like change log from version 6.20 ;)

Hi All,

I don't know how the rest of lucky or unlucky users of new 7.10 firmware, but in my case after over 1 week different tests, everything seems to be OK - no crashes, no freezes, all needed functionalities…

Looks like the change log for the 6.20, almost verbatim.

This is great because I initially thought all the good stuff (Vo2max for trail running) had been pulled out of the beta to full release.

I do find it curious they only rolled it out to 10% of watches; I've been wearing modern Garmins for about six years now, and have never seen a rollout that small. Not exactly confidence inspiring, LOL. My wife got the sensor hub update but not the 7.1 software, and I got neither on my watch. I guess I never really understood the staggered rollout; isn't that what beta testing is for?

I don't see anything extraordinary in 10% rollout or pushing software updates this way...

It might be their way to ease the load on the servers or something similar.

Also, if it is s version change, and not that close, it might as well be with some more fine tunes.

Me too, like your wife, have the Hub update and not yet 7.10...

YEah, maybe I'm just impatient. I'm training for a trail full on Labor Day weekend, can't train 100% on trails, so it would be nice to have separate vo2max readings!

My watch has been updated to version 7.1, but still shows beta 6.85 in the software information. sleep widget has been translated into my language in 7.1 version

Update broke my watch, both strength and treadmill workouts didn't record data from sensors and then when saved didn't even upload to Garmin connect. From my social networks I wasn't the only one affected.

Currently doing a factory reset to see if it solves de problem.
