Map Detail Missing

I have Worldwide DEM Basemap, NR and TopoActive Americas, North 2021.10 turned on for the Forerunner 945. All the details are missing from the maps, no trails and no small streets, I only see major roads. It shows the triangle and the line of where I've run but nothing else. When I load a course it only shows the line for the course but no details around it.

Any ideas what might be going on and how to fix it?

There are no updates when I plug it into my computer through Garmin Express, I did the most recent update. I've restarted my watch multiple times, did the 6.85 Beta update and then reverted back to 6.20 hoping to fix it, re-installed the map via Garmin Express. I have buddies with "Topoactive Americas, north 2020.20" still on their watches and they see no issues.

Is the map detail set to high, normal, or less?

If you switch to high, does it change anything? I had an update just a couple of days ago for maps when I plugged in Express. You didn't get that?

No, nothing changes. This hasn't been an issue in the past. I did get the map update. I have a couple of buddies that haven't updated their watches and their maps (Topoactive Americas, north 2020.20) are fine.

I wonder if something happened with the update? I had a similar issue when I first took the watch out of the box back in May 2019. I called support and they walked me through how to reinstall the maps. Unfortunately, I don't remember the process. Maybe give them a call.

There have been problems with the 2021.10-maps. Check out the Fenix 6-forum. Perhaps a reinstall will help you?
