  • hello, does this update fix the Climbpro? I have noticed for some time that the climbpro screen no longer switches automatically when approaching an ascent, although it works on the Edge 530. I have observed the same thing on my wife's Fenix 6S pro. You also have this problem.Thank you for your feedback.

  • Good point, I don’t know :)

  • Have you had any issues with the beta so far?

  • They don’t have a set timespan. Mostly it’s only weeks. Sometimes there is another beta after a beta before it goes into stable. Stable releases are phased rollouts, if it goes live you can wait another few days until it’s your watches turn.

Garmin betas need More Power most times, but in my opinion they are as stable as stable releases.

  • Sounds good, thanks for info! By More Power you mean they are draining battery a bit faster?

  • So far I've not had any issues with this beta. This includes:

Cycling - connecting to Assimo Power, Tyrewiz, HRM-TRI, Bontrager lights

Treadmill - connecting to RUNN foot pod.

Sleep, swim, battery life, customIQ widgets etc.. all working fine.

  • Only beta issue for me - certain CIQ Store watch faces stop updating after some period (seconds to several minutes). Seconds dispaly and heart rate info either freezes or goes blank, depending on which watch face. One dev I contacted said he suspects "related to the full power mode (watch faces use partial update with 1 Hz frequency for the elements like seconds or real-time heart rate)." Hope this helps.

  • There seems to be a bug: sleep data not shown in the app. To make the sleep data sync to your Garmin app you first have to open the sleep widget on your watch. As soon as this happened, it syncs to the app.... you need to do this every morning

  • I couldn’t wait and installed the beta this morning as well, and I added the sleep widget, and I saw it on the watch. But I disappeared, and I had to add it agin now.

And again, and also other widgets disappeared and had to be added again. Strange.

and it doesn’t update with last nights sleep, but I guess I have to sleep one night with it installed.

Vo2max for trail runs worked fine.

  • So I had it running for a day now.

And besides the thing with the widgets on the watch disappeared and had to be added again, everything seems to be fine.

The sleep algorithm and widget is neat.

It seems to pick up woken time during the night, and detected when I fall  asleep, and when I woke up better, at least last night.

    Looks promising!
