Bug on distance racing a previous activity

A couple of weeks ago I did a trail running activity (8,76 km), and today I was going to do it again, so I decided to try racing that activity.

My surprise was that even some screens show the right distance (8.76 km), other screens shows a wrong distance, specifically my watch shows a screen with the elevation profile and a distance of 21.7 km (which does not correspond to this route and I don't know why it is displayed). Also, the virtual partner screen, which displays the time ahead/behind, shows I am around 6 hours behind the original activity, even though the expected time (and the current pace) is more or less the same as the original activity.

Just as a curiosity, I have a course created with Garmin connect and sent to my watch of exactly 21.7 km, so I guess something is mixed with this feature.

Does anybody know something about this bug? Is this feature working in your watches?
