FR945 Battery life 30 hours

The battery of my FR945 lasts 30 hours without registering activity with gps. Has the software 6.20.

    Depends so much on your settings... without listing those, nobody can give you a serious answer. If you search this forum, there's a lot of tips and posts on this topic.

    Specifically, turn Pulse Ox off, use minimal backlight settings, and use a stock Garmin watchface rather than a custom one with lots of internet data.

    There are plenty of connectiq watchfaces that aren't as battery intensive, but indeed... that can make a lot of difference.

    Also try restarting the watch (long press the light button, for 10+ seconds, untill it restarts. Keep pressing it while it goes through the quickoptions and emergency screen, it will restart in the end.

    Sometimes a sw update or something can also mess up the battery and this can help.

    • Connect your watch to Garmin Express and make sure you got the latest software.
    • Do a restart of the watch.
    • Turn off puls ox.
    • Use a default watchface that doesn't display seconds, heart rate, steps, weather and other data that needs to update often or fetch data.
    • If that doesn't help. Then do a factory reset.
    • If the factory reset doesn't work then contact Garmin Support and describe what you have done.
