Heart Rate Features

Hi I´m new in Garmin FR945,

I have Activity Tracking enabled and Wrist Heart Rate in Auto, but I doný know if the measurement is at intervals or continuosly because I see that the sensor is always blinking or fixed light.

Is this well running?
