Rainmaker said so, but there is no sign of it, no new beta, nothing.
Since it's mostly an algorithm change and it's out for the fenix 6 some weeks ago, I guess the 945 is slowly being abandoned....

Ok, so now I'm counting hours to the first "Trail Run VO2max is rubbish!" complaint thread.
You buy a $450 watch and sometimes lose in appeal for Chinese watches.
Then go with your Chinese watch. You're not fooling anyone. If you're Chinese watch was so much better, you'd own one…
Please, don't use my posts to insult other users. Don't use my posts as an oportunitty to ask for unreasonable features, or any other features. Also don't use my posts as an opportunity to show devotion…
Well, I guess everybody now agrees that something fishy is going on...
3 months since last beta, 2 months since last stable.
DC Raymaker says it's coming to several forerunners, gamin support says "we don't know a thing about it"
Garmin-brooks says "At this time nothing has been confirmed one way or the other"...
LOL. I guess the most trusted is the support not knowing a bit.
Who believes that "At this time nothing has been confirmed one way or the other" ? Garmin has a very restrict secrecy policy, but I think they know what they want, and won't leave things like.... well we didn't decide yet... Com'on... of course they decided and are following their agenda. Whatever it'll be.
Be it a 955 or a 945LTE (very strange option after all this time)
The most believeble reason is that the dev team is working on another product, and after it is launched, we will be blessed with a grace firmware with some of the features that we should read:
"Guys, this is the last offer from us. If you want the next features, pick your wallet and upgrade"
Let's wait...
Fishy? Well I don't think so, I still believe the same as over a month ago.

Normal prioritizing the new upcoming product to get it ready for launch. Maybe in a month or month and a half we are smarter.
What I've understood is that support knows about new releases when they have been released. So that source is saying the truth, they just don't know.
I don't have any reason to second guess what Garmin-Brooks have said, so again that's the truth. I don't think you have anything to contradict that either?
Then DC Rainmaker, he's not Garmin employee, we don't know his source for the comments. He's probably telling what has told to him, but we don't know where the information comes from and as he's not Garmin employee it's not official Garmin statement, so we unfortunately have to just ignore it.
So 3 sources, two are telling the truth, one is not from Garmin, which has to be ignored, so I don't see anything fishy there.
gamin support says "we don't know a thing about it"
I guess the most trusted is the support not knowing a bit.
This has already been addressed:
Hello, regarding this email, the agent's working in product support are not prithee to information regarding feature release dates as this is confidential information. The agent is not lying that they haven't heard of plans to release the feature to the watch, because that information hasn't been shared to that level of support.
Why do you feel support would be the most trusted source?
It's not so simple. Ray is not a Garmin employee but he has not a reputation of being a liar. If he wrote what he wrote it's because somebody from Garmin told him so. Don't remember of him advancing anything from Garmin that didn' end up to occur. T remember firmware changes that took months to come, like next fall, when a new model arrive, etc... so Ray is not to be ignored. He has access to dev decisions several months ahead.
sorry, english is not my natural language, so some difficulties arise
