Does anyone know how I can get running dynamics in a walking activity? I am interested in this data.
Yesterday I used the 'Run' activity and changed the activity type on Connect and Strava to walking after it was synced.

The science regarding any actual benefit from Running Dynamics to running performance is speculative at best. To apply it to walking would be science fiction.
And many metrics like ground contact time, etc are completely nonsense when applied to walking.
Cadence you get from the watch while walking without RD.
I use the RD pod every now and then more like a toy with no actual benefit. But funny thing, I spotted a pro Japanese race walker in the World Championship using the Garmin RD pod. I wonder whether the ground contact time metric would make sense in that context.
Well, I started with RD several years ago with my FR-920. For me, they were very useful. My running form changed a lot with several benefits, like avoiding injuries (and pain) in my knees due to overstriding, which was eliminated thanks to some metrics like cadence and vertical oscillation. Foot balance was also very helpful.
