Hi,
I try to follow the daily suggestions my FR945 gives me. Sometimes they don't fit into my schedule or are too hard to be combined with other activities planned for that day, like strength training, hikes or even a party.
Here's a common scenario for me:
Yesterday the watch suggested a sprint workout with something like 9x0:15 intervals at a certain intensity. I wasn't feeling up for it, so I went for a short base run instead.
Now I'd like to do the sprint intervals tomorrow, but I can't remember the details of the suggested workout, which is now lost. The watch instead suggests a long and hard threshold run to balance my training load, but I'd prefer a sprint since it's been weeks since my last sprint workout.
So, the question is: Is there a way to find previous suggested workouts?
I don't think there is, so I'd like to suggest these as new functions:
- For the current daily suggestion: New option to "save as workout".
- New function: "Suggested workout history" - when opening that list you would get something like the last 10 suggestions - which you could then choose to "perform now" or "save as workout". A future addition could be "adapt to current training status" to change the intensity/duration to match your current status.
I know the daily suggestions are adaptive and as such a previous suggestion is not necessarily the right one for today. I would argue, though, that the user would benefit from being given the possibility to decide that themselves, and that the suggested functions above will only add flexibility.
