how to update to 6.2

then you are part of the 80% to wich it is not rolled out yet.

I just updated to 6.20. Or so I thought. Everything looked like the update was successful. My device restarted etc. But when I checked the software version from the About menu, it still showed version 6.04. Is there a bug?

Similar issue here, but shows as 5.5. Was on the official one, no beta) before

I've had to plug into Garmin Express for the last couple updates.  Wifi Synching seems broken on my watch.  It just hangs.  

Normally updates are received during the night. Today during the daytime, at least that's what I am thinking now, as:

1. Huge battery drain

2. Watch language had changed to English from Dutch. Wanting to change back to Dutch, Dutch/Nederlands was not present in the list (only a few languages). Resetted the watch, connected in garmin express, which mentioned all up to date and no updates available. Unplugging from garmin express, Nederlands was selectable again as language.

3. And reading @runningbommel, also here SW v5.5 displayed in watch and GC portal, not 6.2

EDIT 9:30pm - run all sync methods again: WIFI/internet, via BT/GC mobile, via USB/Garmin Express; all to no avail... still v5.5

Second attempt worked. Did a sync via WLAN, then it showed the update again. Now on 6.20

Did you try syncing with Garmin Express, or Garmin Connect Mobile to try pushing the update?

Garmin Connect Mobile (Android). There are currently no updates available, so I can't try the installation again.  The software version is still 6.04.

Check on your watch - System, Softare Updates, and see if the file is there but not installed. If it is there, manually install it.
