spotify sync

I'm having trouble updating Spotify playlists on my FR 945. It's plugged into power, it's connected to a 2 Ghz network that is not being used by anything else in the home (we have a dual bandwidth router). It begins the update, but never passes 0% before displaying 'sync failed'

The playlists are already on there, they will simply not update as I add new songs to my playlists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks

  • same. never passed 0% for a few days. battery fully charged and we have a great mesh network. I did a hard restart two days ago. now, I consistently get to 19% and then displays 'sync failed'. I suppose the next thing to try is reinstalling spotify.

  • any resolution for either of you on this? I tried uninstalling spotify and reinstalling. from the watch i can see my playlists and podcasts. I start to download but only get 3-4% of a playlist or podcast downloaded and it stops. up until last week I never had a problem with spotify. i don't think it's the wifi. watch connects to my network just fine and syncs with no problems. Former Member, any ideas?

  • No, no answer. I’m chatting with a Garmin person on a similar thread amor this very issue. I’ll keep you posted.

  • I have the same issue since the beginning. Spotify is one of the selling argument for this kind of watch.
Garmin should take action to work together with Spotify to solve this issue.
The bypass to remove everything and reconfigure it back can help but not for a long time.
We should be able to store 1000 songs on this watch while we do not succeed to sync a playlist of 30 songs.
I hope that Garmin will listen to his users.
