Alerts in miles, while set up is in km

I set up my Forerunner 945 in metric, throughout (distance, pace, elevation, etc). Yet, the alerts I get while running are every mile (nothing every km).

I saw in other posts similar issues, and the solutions offered do not work.

Anyone?

Hard to say what you have read and what you have already tried.

Toggle the kilometers/miles setting. Check that the autolap really is 1,00 km.

If you have the watch set up in miles with mile auto-lap, and then switch into km measurements - the auto-lap will be in 1.61km and you will need to change it to 1.00km if you really want it to lap every km

TL;DR switching the measurement unit does not change the auto-lap distance

Hold down middle button on LHS to bring up menu

scroll down to Activities & Apps, select Run, select Run Setting, scroll down to Auto Lap and change from 1.61km to 1km.

Thanks for that. I am baffled as to why it is nor linked to the measurement unit in the settings. It makes no sense to set it up in 2 different places.
