Set field for strength training?

Is this not a thing? Any IQ apps anyone aware of? Sure, I see the set when I press the lap button at the end of rest,  but sometimes during my 5x5 workouts,  between running around the house and chores, I actually forget what set I'm on...

  • Hi David, After doing some searching in the Iq store I didn't see any that had a set counter. However I have passed along your feedback.

  • Thanks. My actually feedback would be "why aren't all data fields available in every activity?" They were all at least available on the FR935, even though some field didn't make sense to use with certain activities. It would seem that in trying to simplify the available fields, someone didn't really understand what fields people would actually want in strength training. I wish they were all just available.

  • The answer to that question it does tell you what set you are on at the start of your rep counting. So if you do set one of squats, do your 5 reps, then hit the lap button to go to the rest screen go do your chores or whatever your rest period allows, when you press lap to start the next set, it will flash on the watch set 2. For the rep counter to be the most accurate you don't want to look at the watch. Once you rep out your 5 reps, you hit your lap button again you'll reset your rest timer, and repeat the process.

  • yeah, I knew it does that. I actually didn't notice until a few workouts ago. It would still be nice to have the field.
