Change Log(s) in Garmin Express

Nope don't have any other device.

Just six of them this morning. As a matter of interest am I the only person who sees this?

I don't see that. Do you use the Garmin Connect app? If not then all updates of settings, courses sent to the device etc will be synced with Garmin Express instead of the app. 

The only thing (as far as I know) that is never synced by the app is maps. I also use Garmin Express to sync my music since I don't use Spotify or any other music provider.

Yes I do use the app but this question is about Garmin Express. This is the same behaviour I saw previously on a 645, Garmin Connect decides to install loads of "Change Logs", think the record I saw was 20+. Doesn't cause a problem but just wondering what's going on.

Yes, but it is relevant if you use the app since those updates will be pushed by the app without telling the user so most users will probably never ever see most updates. That might the reason to why I don't see any updates in Garmin Express except for maps and occasionally a software update that hasn't yet been pushed by the app.

There is a setting in the watch for Auto updates. Have you enabled that?

Have you checked in Garmin Connect Web if you see a better description of what is about to be installed? Upper right corner for the device. Click the number to get a description of what is going to be sent.

I had a look in the web version, no extra info there. Just the two "Change Log" to be installed this morning.

Today in Garmin Connect Web I saw in that I had updates for Edge 1030. It just said "Change Log" and if I clicked them the page just reloaded. The Edge is turned off between rides so it will not connect to the app as often as my watch. As soon as I started the Edge and it connected to the app it got the updates and they disappeared from the web page.

Doesn't cause any problems obviously it's just strange.

Did you check if you got auto update enabled in the watch? System->Software Update

If it is disabled you can get rid of the need to check with Garmin Express every day by just enabling it. I connect my devices to Garmin Express maximum once a month.
