Forerunner 945 - Best True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds?

Hi Guys,

being a user of Jaybird Vista for 6 months, I have to admit it's definitely not working and keep disconnecting when BT with F 945 -

Taken that Garmin doesn't seem to work on this BT issue, can I please ask you to suggest Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds which you are using with F 945 and is perfectly working when running/cycling ? Jabra, Bose, Beats,...?

Aftershokz Aeropex work very well with the 945. Zero drop outs.

These "no name" earbuds have worked great in terms of BT and audio. Have had them 6 months now and not a single issue with 945.

I don't think it's Garmin's responsibility to ensure every make and model of headphones works with their devices. It may be an issue with the headphone manufacturer that's out of Garmin's control. More on that in the link below.

Anyway, no issues or complaints here using Bose Soundsport Free's for 18 months.

Fair enough, agreed to a certain extent, F945 is top level triathlon device, BT for audio/Spotify being one of their best feature from my view I would expect them to work with best rated earbuds. It might also be related to the Jaybird, sad for a 200$ device.

Melomania Touch by Cambridge Audio work flawlessy. Brilliant sound and they have transparency mode which I consider essential for running on the road.

Bose Sport. They just work. No disconnects/dropouts.

Please enlighten me how you achieved that. Mine dropout every time I pass another runner, cyclist or car. They replaced my Soundsport Free buds that had better connection with my 945.

I have both the Soundsport Free and Sports. The Frees I have an occasional issue with the left bud dropping out, but that's the fault of the ear buds and not the connection to the watch. With both, I have paired through the watch per instructions and they just work.
