Display data on map after XC workout

In Garmin connect/app, the map view of running activities show a color coded GPS track that can be set to show pace, HR or elevation.

The XC skiing categories however, do not have this possibility. The gps track is displayed in the old red color.

Is there a reason for this, or is it just a bug?

The overlay you are referencing is only available on the following profiles.

GPS Track Data Overlays are available for the following GPS activity types:
- Run
- Walk
- Hike
- Cycling

Well, it is the same for the other winter sports such as backcountry skiing, skimo and alpine skiing/snowboard. So I guess it is a "feature" and not a bug. But if Garmin want to implement the same functionality for winter sports I assume they easily can.

If it is something you think is relevant I propose you contact support and let them know.

I change it for run to see this and then back;).

I mean, when you do this in mobile app (at least in android), then map stays still in "colored version" till you log off. But maybe it's just bug..

Thanks. It would be useful if it was made available for XC skiing activity types as well.
