No training button

Hi!

I can't see my planned training because I can't found training button 

Forerunner®‎ 945 Owner’s Manual page 7 I find instructions:

Starting a Workout

Before you can start a workout, you must download a workout from your Garmin Connect account. (That I have done)

1 From the watch face, select START. (ok)

2 Select an activity. (ok)

3 Hold  up button  (ok)

4 Select Training  (No training button)

    When you get to step 4, you don't have a screen that shows run settings (if you the run app), scroll down to training, navigation, etc.?  What type of workout are you trying to do and what activity app are you selecting? 

  • And what type of activity are you starting? The same type as the workout that you have downloaded I hope.

    After  step 3 Press the "up" button for a long time should be displayed exercise / my exercises. But does not show these ?

    Indoor cycling is an exercise and the exercise should work for this
  • When I on my Fr945 select "Bike Indoor" I get the training choice, process as you describe)

    1. Press Start

    2. Choose "Bike Indoor"

    3. Press "Up" (for Options)

    4. Scroll down 2, to choose the "Training" option. Press Start

    5. Press Start again for "Workouts"

    Your workouts, that you say you have downloaded to the watch, should be there. I have verified that a workout of type "Bike" is recognized as a workout both for the "Bike" and "Bike indoor" activity.

    It should work for you as olni65 described in their steps above.

    Thanks! Good instructions. The problem still comes from that point 4. I can’t find that "Training" option. I will probably need to ask the importer for help with this

    If you haven't done so, hold the light button for 15 seconds until the device shuts down.  Let it go through the assistance alert. Wait about 30 secs and power on again and see if that resets it.  You won't lose any data in the process.

  • What options do you have?

    On my watch I will get "Trainer options" after I've chosen "Bike Indoor" since I got a smart trainer connected.

    What I can do then is to click the back button. Then I'm at the first data page for Bike Indoor and see the options. Then I click "Up" for "Options".

    In options I see the following options:

    • Smart Trainer Options
    • Bike Indoor Settings
    • Training
    • Navigation
