Have any of you tried it? If so, is the pace of the outdoor race accurate? The problem is that at the moment not even a foot pod is found, all sold out.

foot pod will be more accurate then the watches cadence sensor on treadmill because it isn't effected by times when you wrist doesn't move (water drink, towel grab, speed/volume adjust, forehead wipe, etc). However it will always be off - Pace and Step-per-minute are not a consistent reliable relationship.
Stride Length and Steps per Minute vary at any pace. Incline, how tired you are, soreness, etc all effect it. If you run at your normal easy pace on flat... it can be calibrated decent enough after sometime. However, if you then run that same easy pace up a 6% hill... your steps per minute will likely increase, pace is the same. However your watch will detect the increased steps...thinking you are going faster, but you're not. Or in my case, I run 180-205steps/min at a huge range of pace from 9:10-5:50/mi... but on the high end 200-205/min, my marathon rate,10k, 5k rate are the same and/or different by 2 steps/min!!!!(6:58/mi to 5:50!) Stride length is what is changing!
I looked at the Zwift foot pod, Stryd Pod, but ended up with the NPE RUNN.
It sticks to the treadmill and can be used for more than 1 person easily.
FR945 and Zwift sees it as a food pod, giving pace and cadence. With the NPE Runn app on my FR945 it can also measure incline.
I've been using it for 6 months and about 50+ sessions with no issues at all.
