Forerunner 945 Strap

Hi, I have seen a few people saying that they have experienced this annoying creaking noise from the strap that comes with the 945. Happens every evening (must be dust or whatever getting in between the level and the band). Whilst I understand rinsing it makes it temporarily go away, this is very annoying. Can people confirm if it goes away over time?

This issue combined with the dodgy button feelings are both quite irritating on a new purchase (second 945 i've tried).

    Creaking noise?  How would this happen?  How is the watchband even moving where it would cause any…

    I have the same noise from my FR 945.
    Never use lubricants with the same base as the material. If the band is in silicone, absolutely do not lubricate with a silicone-based lubricant.
    Exactly what kind of material is the stock band really made of?

    Three weeks ago I "upgraded" from 935 to 945... and previous week I had also some creaking noise from the watch band but not so loud as @2908006. !!!

    Luckily it was for one/two days but I got worried about the future Worried  Most probably I will try a QuickFit band since with a QuickFit band on my FR 935 I never had any unpleasant noises..  

    it is a little bit disappointing to pay all this amount of money and to have something annoying like this.. Disappointed

    Mine stopped squeaking when I stopped washing it with hand soap and shower gel.
    I do not wear it in the shower and I ONLY wash it with hand dishwashing detergent.
    It has been quiet for over a month now.
