Just had a run with my 945. GPS was way off during the run, I mean about 50-100 meters off reality during the whole route.
Has anyone else had this today? Using GPS+Glonass setting.

I have done a few more experiments and think I have worked out what is going on.
Before going for a run today I connected to GC on my PC and did a sync. I verified the CPE had downloaded correctly by checking…
Not impacting everyone, but it is a system-wide issue impacting multiple device types, not only Garmin devices.
I've just done some work today, and you can take the GPX file and make a manual adjustment to the lon / lat and correct it.
It would be too labour intensive, so I made a small python file to make the…
Same here. End of my hike ended like 100m - 200m off. Also had the elevation wrong by 60m but that is pretty much standard for me. If I measure elevation during activity manually it will actually get it right but will never get it right when doing it on auto.
The same thing today with my 8 km run along the Danube (river in Germany) with GPS + Galileo. Half the time the GPS said I was on the other side of the river. >100m from my correct position. That has never happened before. My friend was there with her 735XT and had no problems. So could be the Sony GPS chip.
I had the same issue today. I started en finished at the same spot for an easy walk. I didn’t swim across the Rotte as well. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/6035151566
Wow, same for me. I never could have imagined it was a general error affecting more than me.
A bit more wrong in the beginning than the end, although starting and stopping at the same place I had a distance of roughly 200m between them - end-place was about 30m wrong. And everything was wrong in almost fully a westernly direction.
You mean removing Glonass fixed the problem?
Yes, after switching to GPS - Galileo in the settings my correct position was shown on the map.
