Segment notifications

I created a bunch of segments in my area as there were almost none.

Today I ran over two segments, but noticed only I passed them when I checked in GC when I was home.

Can I set my 945 to notify me when approaching a segment? Also when I am following a Trainingplan?

    Have you downloaded (send to device from Garmin Connect) the segments to your 945 and enabled the Segment Alerts for the run activity?

    Yes I have. And today I had my first notification, but I got it when I was looking at my watch and changing the data screens. So I don’t know if I got it because I happened to scroll to the right data screen at that moment or if I would have gotten it anyway.

    It doesn't rely on a data field, so it should notify (beep and/or vibrate) and display the segment field automatically to allow you to track progress. (Has been my experience with this functionality)
