- Daily Suggested workout. Suggestion - it would be great to get a message today for the workout tomorrow... right now I don’t know what it’s suggesting until I’m about to start my run
You can see what it recommends for that day via the calendar widget. The way the algorithm works, it wouldn’t make sense to recommend a workout for tomorrow until you have slept and it knows how you recovered. Although I guess it could show what it would do if you recover correctly.
Training Sessions based on Garmin Running Power instead of pace or heart rate, because it is easier to follow Running Power.
Pace based on GPS is often very inaccurate (at start before GPS is looked, under trees, …).
Heart Rate has a to long delay, so that it is not possible to follow interval's based on HR.
My experience with Garmin Running Power (from HRM-RUN) is that it follows fast and smooth.

Perhaps; I tried GRP too and I liked it. BUT eats too many battery... :-( (I used it with Combo Running Power IQ app, from Garmin Labs).
I doubt Garmin sets any plan power-bassed while Running Power isn't a native or built-in data.
The recommended workout becomes available at midnight so probably misses the majority of sleep for most people. Midnight is neither here nor there, if it's going to take into account how well rested you are would it not make sense to tie in with your waking time (if you have one set)?
