Third HRM-Tri heart rate monitor I buy !!

Today is the third HRM-Tri heart rate monitor that I buy, the first 2 both after about 12 months did not connect to the Garmin 945, or rather on 10 times I try to associate them, 1 time it succeeds, the rest of the times does not find it. Did it just happen to me or is it a recurring problem?

Apologies for asking the obvious, but did you replace the battery? 12 months is right around the advertised battery life for an HR strap.

Do you still have the old HRM Tri?

How about pairing them on another watch just to confirm if they are really faulty.

Show to Garmin that you had 2 other lemon products which break down so quickly.

of course, I have 2 other heart rate bands (one old Garmin, the other of a different brand) and I have no association problems with both.

after placement of the new battery you have to pare it again

Never paired a sensor again after battery change. I don't know what are you talking about.

I have changed the heart rate monitor every year because they started to fail. I think that finally some water got because it should not be 100% waterproof from sweat and washes

Luckily Garmin or Amazon have always changed it for free thanks to the purchase guarantee
