Thanks! I went through it several times, but I didn´t find any information about the maps. Software Version, Mac-Address and several others, but nothing about any maps.
In Garmin Express the map versions weren´t listed either. However, I initated an update of the maps via Garmin Express now, and now the map versions are listed (in Garmin Express). Seems to be that there was something wrong with the installed maps before. Thanks!
Yeah, that's what I do. Whenever my watch updates the software, I plug it into my computer to check if the maps need to be updated.
It'll get more complicated if we're ever allowed to travel outside the United States again. (Insert political comment here.) I'll be using the available free map downloads from OpenStreetMaps, so I'll probably be updating those maps before every trip since OSM is always being updated.
