I have had a chat with Garmin Support about a known issue with the Tarah Pro. The new software for the 945, 5.50, does not seem to address this. Has anyone found a work around other than the need to factory restore the headphones when issues arise?

It seems that Jaybird's have more issues than any other brand when using them with Garmin watches. Is this reality or perception due to popularity? I don't know, but they're definitely brought up more…
What I've read these forums, buying Jaybird and using them with Garmin does not seem smart bet.
These are great headphones.
I don't dispute the quality of the headphones. I'm commenting on the compatibility of the headphones with Garmin . Isn't that why you started this thread…

Yep - hard tension as they are both great products and hope it can be addressed!
Have been for a 1 hour run with the headphones now. I had three separate millisecond connection drops during the start of my run but apart from that the headphones worked fine, will be interesting to see how they are in the long term. I've used the JBL reflect mini (stopped charging within a year) replaced with the JBL reflect mini 2. Both the JBLs worked fine but the main issue with them is the charge port wearing out and not closing properly, been using tape to keep the mini 2 charge port closed. That's the main reason why I went with these jaybirds as they don't have a USB port on them. Other thing I've noticed is the overall sound quality seems better with the Jaybirds.
