Smart notifications no longer displayed after software upgrade.

The notification widget remains empty and cannot be opened
I was running beta 5.09 and then automatically upgraded to 5.20 and 5.30
Soft reset and the recreation of garmin connect phone connection did not solve.
Could you please advice ?

    Hi guys,

    I have a few questions to try and help out.

    • Could either of you attach a picture of what it looks like on that widget?
    • Also are you on android or iphone, do you receive phone calls and not text/emails or no phone calls either?
    • If you go into your phone settings menu, does it show connected there?
    • If you go into the app, is there a green dot next to the watch at the top of the app?
    • Activities and wellness data sync ok? 

    Please let me know and I'd be happy to keep trying to straight this out for you.

    Here is what the widget looks like.

    I am using an Android 6.0.1 Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) phone 

    I do receive phone calls correctly on the watch

    On the phone BT settings I do not see my watch, it is paired from GCM (I tried to remove the watch from the app but I could not pair it directly via BT: no interface to enter the security code).

    Nevertheless, both in GCM and on the watch the BT connection looks fine with a green dot

    All activities are synchronized correctly.

    I upgraded yesterday my watch to 5.32 beta software but this had no effect on the problem.

    By looking on this forum, this symptom could be similar to what is described on:

    Hey Brooks,

    I'm using android, I can get a Bluetooth connection notification, and calls notifications. 
    All data sync is working fine, sleep, activities etc. Watch displays phone connection icon just fine, and receives info from the phone, like the weather, and has music control over the phone. 

    In the Garmin Connect app it shows the watch as connected and I am able to adjust setting on the watch from the app. I've double and triple checked notification settings and permissions, paired, unpaired, reset and uninstalled everything at this point. 

    On the phone's bluetooth settings it does not display the watch as a paired device.

    The watch simply will not receive of display any text, messenger, or push notifications of any kind.

    Hello, I just upgraded to GCM version 4.37 today and my issue is solved: smart notifications are displayed again.

    Great and Professional support from Garmin !
