New Recovery Time works but problems with 30min dogwalks MOVEIQ

the new recovery time himself works great, but when i do a 30min dog walk in the evening it increases extremly!

For example, after a workout and before the dog walk i have 24 hours to recover, i don't start an activity for the dog walk, only move iq, after i come back home, the recovery time goes to 30 hours (Delayed by high Activity), think thats totally wrong, because the dog walk is totally easy

  • Hi , if you go into menu > system > about what is the firmware that your watch is on? I'd like to try duplicating what exactly you are seeing.

  • Hey ,

First of all thanks for the quick help, unfortunately I forgot to indicate the version:

Unfortunately I noticed it too late during the beta phase, that's why I reported here!

my dog walks are really easy, mostly 50-60% of max HR, today i have a recovery day, now after my lunch walk i got a Popup:

Thats totally strange, that means my evening walk will again increase my Recovery Time, so it could be, that tomorrow i don't get a Workout Suggestion?

Hope you have an idea, what is wrong?

For my bike workouts I use an Edge 830, to use the Suggested workuts there as well, I recreate them 1: 1 on TrainingPeaks and then send them to my 830, hope that does not cause any problems because the 830 does not yet have the new recovery time and suggested workouts feature in the firmware (6.22 Beta)?
Anyway, hope this really cool features will come soon on Edge 830 too?

  • Hi ,

today i tried something different, instead of using MoveIQ for walking i started the walk activity, with that it looks much better, as soon as i recovered fully, short after lunch, i started a 2h Bike Workout (Base) and after the Bike workout i have again arround 19 hours to recover, so far so go, sounds logic.
Now i made again a 30min Evening walk, so i started again the walk activity and now totally surprising, i am fully recovered!
