swim pace alert - shortcut missing

case: i want to change an active pacing alert during a break. So i hit the mode button and then things get unclear:
a) sometimes the first menu item is "pacing alert" which is basically a shortcut --> that's what i want
b) sometimes this menu item is missing. Instead i have to go through pool swim settings -> alerts
I was not able yet to see a pattern, i.e. when a and when b happens. Any ideas?

Anyone? I'm having the exact same issue however, i was able to identify a pattern: If during a break i push and hold the settings button but then, i hit back, the next time i push the settings button it will take me straight to the pacing menu.

Thanks for your hint with pushing twice, works for me as well. It's clearly a bug which nobody else noticed it seems.
