Hi all,
I have a Zwift footpod and it works fine with the Zwift app. Today I wanted to just record a treadmill run directly to my watch. So I connected the footpod directly to my watch and chose treadmill activity. It showed the footpod as connected on the screen and I started the run. But it seemed to me that the watch was just using the accelerometer data rather that the footpod. I did check and it was definitely connected during the run. The reason i think using three accelerometer is that if I stopped moving my arm, the pace dropped and it increased if I moved my arm quicker.
Do I need to do anything to make sure it uses the footpod, any setting for instance?
Or can I check the data for any signs? In the sensor setting it shows speed and distance as indoor.
Thanks,
Steve
