just open my Garmin swim 2 and already having truble with the GPS

yesterday I got my Garmin swim 2 , opened it and configured it, checked that the GPS got connected and charged it through the night.

in the morning I went for a morning run, but the GPS refused to get location,

I started playing with all GPS configurations, changed it from GPS on to off, changed from Galileo to Glonass,

restart the device, reset it to factory default.

nothing worked. it's still doesn't start the GPS.

I saw during that time that there was some automtic updates which I recived, might it be related ?

I'm so disapointed , do you have any solution ?

Try syncing with Garmin Connect or Garmin Express to update satellite locations.

You^re in the Forerunner 945 forum - the Swim 2 has it's own forum, maybe people there can provide better help?

this sometimes happen to me too - especially when i go for an ows in the nearby mountains; i've noticed that if i open the activity there might be a long time until i get a decent signal (not even full green - most likely 3/4 red) - so what i do - while driving there i open the activity so the gps signal gets acquired and hit start only when starting swimming. this is from today - it's a bit zig zag on the return because i tried to draw a ladder :D
