Fenix 6 Body Battery says I’m dead.

I went from 70 to 5 three days ago and entered Zombie Land stuck at 5 even though I hiked up 2000 vertical from 10,000 to 12,000 feet after sleeping 9 hours last night. Body Battery and Stress tracking are garbage. Garmin should drop both. The syncing problems are bad enough without bogus tracking applications.

  • My condolences. But why not post this in the Fenix 6 forum?

  • Maybe you should have bought a 945 then Rofl

  • I think Garmin is telling you that you are pushing too hard.

I do monitor the stress regularly. Not so much on body battery.

  • Can you elaborate on this some more. Do you find the stress indicator to be more accurate than the body battery? I usually watch the body battery since it's up front and seems to match my energy level in general. I often forget there's a toggle for stress.

  • I have a poor nervous system. I get tense or panic easily. And my HR spikes when it happens. But I don't have any medical condition. When my HR spikes, it will fall off quickly after that.

At the moment my daily stress level is around high 20s. So I basically monitor this more often. If stress is too high, I will just rest and slow down more.

For body battery, I don't think I need a watch to tell me I'm tired or low in energy. I can feel if I'm tired or sleepy.

Oh just curious, what's are you guys daily stress level? Just for curiosity sake. Slight smile

  • Oh just curious, what's are you guys daily stress level?

Last 4w, overall stress level 24. Daily seems to be 13-34.

  • My stress level is 28 (when I look at last 7days / 4weeks /1 year - yup, all the same number. First time I've looked. I may keep an eye on it going forward.

I look at body battery in the mornings, to see if I've "recharged" sufficiently over night, and sometimes in the evenings, particularly after a hard day of exercise, to see how low I am.

Fun to look at the curve the evening after running a marathon in the morning .. :)
