Sensors keep turning off

This began with the latest FW version 5.0 and I (and others) have commented on it other threads but this problem has persisted for me.

My ANT+/BT sensors continue to turn "off" on their own from day to day on my watch. I'll turn them all on before starting an activity, then the next time I go to do another activity I noticed that my HR and footpod are not connecting and sure enough in the settings they have been turned "off" again.

Only my Varia Radar for my bike and my Garmin Tempe stay "on" in settings...everything else including HRMs, footpods, power meters, speed/cadence etc get their status to "off" somehow between activities.

Anyone else seeing this?

Searching while you are in the Sensors menu makes sense. That doesn't mean they are always searching. I'm actually pretty sure when you are just on the WF, searching isn't active. ConnectIQ…

Try deleting that sensor (as against just turning it on/off), then re-adding it.

Yes, I also have same problem. I have a varia, tempe and HRM Tri. The varia and tempe stays on, but the Tri keeps turning off. Not sure if its related to the FW 5.0 or ANT/BT/BLE version 6.06. I suspect the latest. Which versions are you running on your watch?

I have the latest of each (5.0 and 6.06) but this problem started with FW 5.0. I had hoped that the 6.06 would fix it but alas it hasn't.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd rather not as i have renamed some of them and that naming process is a bit arduous.

Perhaps try just one sensor at first, and see if that resolves the problem for that sensor at least?

Same for me with Garmin HRM run since FW 5.0 Just ant+ , no BT on HRN run. Tried to delete the sensor and adding it but still off. Have to manually turn it on before starting an activity. No problem before FW 5.0.

I’m having the same issue while running. Had no issues before using AirPods pro, polar oh1+, and a stryd footpod. Now my hrm constantly disconnects and reconnects and my AirPods completely drop. Same issue even after hard reset and deleting and readding all the sensors.

I've seen it as well. Playing with removing/adding the sensors had no impact for me. The only thing that finally fixed it was doing a complete device reset.

Interesting that some of you are seeing it with Ant+ only sensors as well. For me it was just my dual-mode sensors. I never saw any of my Ant+ only sensors get disabled.

Doesn't seem to make any difference on mine whether dual sensor (Stryd, Scosche HRM) or not (Garmin cadence/speed sensors).
