SoundSport Free wireless headphones - one side not working

I have been using my forerunner 945 with my wireless SoundSport Free Wireless headphones from Bose for over 2 months now. But 3 weeks ago, i started to have issues with my left side headphone. The headphones plays perfectly fine with my phone and other devices, but with my watch there seems to be a recurrent issuer. I have reinstalled the headphones , changed from mono to stereo mode, re-download the latest version and yet i am still having the same issue.

Can you please help me find a solution?

    I also had problems with my left soundsport free a while ago. I updated the headphones to the latest version via Bose connect (phone) and I have the following settings / routine: I have the headphones only paired to my watch, no other devices. When I take them out of the case, I always take out the right one first, followed imediately by the left one. I wait until I hear a short beep, indicating that both are connected. Then I start music/podcast on the watch. The phones keep saying something like "searching for watch" (I use them with German language) until I start the music.
