Pairing 945 to two different phones

I previously had a 920xt which I had paired to my normal phone (work) and then a second phone (personal) which I use when cycling. I am trying to figure out how to get my 945 to pair to my second phone but it doesn't show up on the phones Bluetooth menu and the watch just says waiting for phone. Is this feature no longer available?

Both phones have Garmin connect installed and my cycling phone current also has a Edge 520+ paired to it - so I know that the phone is able to pair to Garmin devices

I would really like to get this working to take advantage of the full features of the watch incl incident detection whilst cycling so any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hi, i have my FR945 paired to a Samsung S10 and a Xperia XZ1c without any problems via G Connect, but i think you can´t use them simultaneouly.
