Syncing Amazon Music 0% Complete

I'm not sure why my 945 will no longer sync Amazon but it just sits there the last few weeks showing "syncing amazon music 0% complete."  I'm connected to a strong WiFi network and I've tried several different ones with the same screen showing.  I've tried changing my playlists so it triggers a change, etc.   Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks I can apply to get my music to start syncing again?

  • I have a Fenix 6 and mine is doing the same thing.

  • Try making a change to your syncing playlist(s) and if that doesn't work uninstalling the app and reinstalling.  That seemed to fix mine.

  • I synced my a few days ago w/o problems, it always sits a 0% for a bit and they zooms up to 100% quickly .. sorry you are running into issues.

I find this regularly syncing a hassle, I use the free service, but unless I sync in every once in a while (no warning ahead of time) I find that I can't access the music while out on a run :-/

I had this happen just a few days ago as well.  Previously I have never had any issue accessing my playlists even if previous syncs "failed" (as they often did).  This new error message said something like "downloads require a sync in order to play offline" or something like that.  I didn't like that to say the least.

  • Yup, that's the message.

The first time this happened was when I traveled from Chicago (my home) to the Berlin marathon last year and found out there that my amazon playlist wasn't available the day before the marathon  :-/

Not a super big deal, but annoying none-the-less.

  • Restarting my phone, then my garmin945 worked for me

  • Hi, I had the same problem, the synchronization always got stuck at 0%. Reinstalling the app did not help, and different WFI networks were unsuccessful. The solution was to turn the watch off and then turn it on again. Then the synchronization started.
