Regionalised 945 versions - help!

Do your maps work for the UK?

Sorry - I should have given more context. I haven't received the item yet, but it's easier for me to cancel the order before it arrives if I know that it's the wrong version. So I'd like to identify it beforehand if possible.

Any ideas?

I was under the impression that the -10 was for the US also, but I don't know that to be a fact. Maybe Garmin-Enrique or Garmin-Chris could clarify.  Maybe send one of them a private message.

So yes, -00 seems to be US and -01 the EU version.

But.. I don't know does the Amazon have the part numbers correctly on their site, they may have one global product database and the local warehouses just have the localized versions of the products. 

So I mean that you probably can't be sure before getting the box in your hands.

Well, there's https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=010-02063-01 but still, which versions those will really ship.. dunno :)

This is a good point. Who knows what they'll send. The one I ordered was the most 'popular' listing for the watch and was listed as 'Amazon's choice'. Seems odd that there wouldn't be more people complaining if it was actually shipping with the wrong maps...

Will report back when I've opened it up and checked the maps.

The part number is on the box, so I would guess that it will show what you got before opening, but well, it probably doesn't much matter if you open it or not for the returning wise if it's a wrong product.

Also the Garmin's included Topo Europe maps aren't the best maps available. Garmin sells better maps or then some OpenStreetMap based map or local government maps which are better.

So I'm not saying that the map doesn't matter, but depending on you map needs, you might still want to have better map than the included one.

The watch arrived today and I'm very happy to report that the correct (Euro) maps are installed.

Quick question: I already own a Fenix 5X (APAC version with the wrong maps installed from day 1). If I were to purchase one of the above paid Garmin maps, would it allow installation on both the Fenix AND the 945? Or is it one device per purchase?
