Open water without GPS for stationary swimming but it measures distance?!?!

I am swimming in place with a belt in my small swimming pool.
I have created a copy of “Open water swim” and have disabled GPS but it measures distance.
How can I disable distance? Or if it is calculated by multiplying strokes by an average “Distance per stroke”, how can I modify it?

It is measured from the stroke rate. As far as I know, you can not disable or configure it.

So it works differently from 935. I also copied the Open Water profile and disabled the GPS, all of my stationary swims record 0 meters. I make the distance calculation based on strokes count then and correct the activity.
