FR 945 - no Updates since months?

Hello,

are there no more updates for the FR 945?
Otherwise these came regularly and since 3 months it has become quiet.

Still wish me a scheduler for an automatic flight mode. (To reduce radiation in the night)

Yeah, mine went nuts again yesterday with "Abnormal Heart Rate" alarm. It probably does this about once or twice a week, and it's never when I'm actually doing anything. Just sitting…

I just want the weather widget fixed so all my heat acclimation and vo2max and other training metrics aren't hosed.

Rollout usually takes a couple of weeks to reach all users... Now it's almost a couple of month since this post but still no update my side...

And by which method are you trying to get it? Garmin Express is the best bet of getting those FW updates.

5.04 is only a so called driver Update for the sensors and not a firmware update!

Oh, I assumed that he knows what his talking about :D My bad...

So if afarnedi you open System -> About and scroll down 4 screens you can see a screen that has something like:

GPS: 4.40 Wi-Fi: 2.60
CIQ: 3.1.7 BMX: 0.5.2
WHR: 20.04.70
ANT/BLE/BT: 5.04
Sensor Hub: 4.01

If those matches, you are up-to-date..

this makes sense why no one is responding to these questions. If they're going to launch the new one, they can't say that. They also don't the 945 to be feature equivalent to the 955. Sucks, but is most likely the truth.

Also if they are releasing it "early", not the nowadays usual 2 year cycle, I'm reading that they admit that 945 was a bad product that needs to be quickly replaced.

What do you mean exactly? I'm not trying to start a pissing match, nor am I a Garmin fan boy, but I don't see it. I have 2 945's in my household. They're worn 24/7 and the wife and I both conduct 5-7 activities a week. We run, cycle, hike, swim, do cardio, weightlifting and she does Pilates and yoga. We both have Android phones and use the Stryd, cadence, speed, tempe, Tri and Run sensors all with no issues. The watches have worked phenomenal for both of us since we purchased them in May, 2019. What are you experiencing that makes you say it's a "bad product that needs to be quickly replaced"? Outside of the European map issue, nearly all posted issues are minimal with the number of complaints and a lot can be dismissed as user issues. I get that there hasn't been an update for quite awhile, but I don't see a need for an update except for added features which I'd enjoy, but don't expect.

You're completely wrong if you think the only people who say they don't have problems only use their watch as a timepiece. Based on what you've written, I use mine in a much more advanced manner than you and I'm not having any problems. Maybe you are having a hardware issue afterall.
