Bug Report: Forerunner 945 (4.40) connection issues while being paired with the Adidas FWD-01 bluetooth headphones

FR945 (4.40 firmware) issue with the brand-new Adidas FWD-01 bluetooth sport headphones (with the most up-to-date firmware installed - 4.2.3.9): the headphones just disconnect (as if there was a kind of power saving mode which automatically triggers the headphones to power off) from the FR945 smartwatches after 1 hour (precisely) of operating (no matter if you have had any interactions related to the music playback during this 1 hour of operating or not). To connect the headphones back, one has to power on the headphones again and re-connect them with the FR945 smartwatches by resuming a recently paused music track.

The issue is NOT observed while the same headphones are connected to, for instance, an Android smartphone (the headphones just continue operating after 1 hour of operating without any connection issues).

  • Hello,

did you figure out the solution for this. Would you be so kind to share?
Im having the very same problem (and it is sort of anoying with a 645M and the same headphones).

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hey,

No, unfortunately, I didn't. The headphones of mine died earlier (suspect they are not that sweat resistant as it's said by the manufacturer) :) So, I just switched to the JBL Endurance SPRINT wireless headphones and forgot about that annoying bluetooth connection issue with the FR945 watches.

    Cheers.
