Weather app and heat accumulation still useless

Former Member

I have wind at 236 km/h.

The city I live in is in a heat wave with 5am temperature at 24C (feels like 30C with humidity) but my Garmin tells me heat acclimation went down after my run this morning.

Why is this feature so useless? Why is weather in general so useless?

If the weather app on my phone can report an accurate wind and temperature so should Garmin.

This should not be hard in software. I take it to mean that they just don't care about getting their software right.

Marketing before functionality!

  • 236 kmph wind is a known bug, it happens when the wind speed is unknown (-1 reported by the weather station)

The difficulty is not software, it's a business one, they just have a *** weather data provider, really bad in some locations... And to make matters worse, if you have a temperature sensor (like a Garmin Tempe), the watch doesn't even use it to calculate heat acclimation...
