Body Battery

Should Body Battery not drop after a workout?

I woke up did a hard ride using my Edge 1030 (2hrs 120TSS) and my Body Battery was not affected.

Should it not have dropped after a hard workout?

  • It should have and for me with both Edge 530 and the 945 it does.

Are you sure both units were synced fully?

Are you seeing the ride in the Garmin connect app?

Where don't you see the battery drop in the application or on the watch?

  • Hi,

they are both fully synced, and in the app you see the activity but there is no ‘drop’ in Body Battery.

    i attach a screenshot

  • Indeed, doesn't looks right.

  • That isn't right - during my activities the graph has a line still like Oren's.  Yes i should go down.  The only thing I can imagine is two things... is 'True Up' selected in the settings (forget where).  To take into account all Garmin devices.  2nd, does the 1030 support stress and body battery?  Were you wearing your watch during the ride by chance?  It would capture the HRV/Stress during that way I would imagine.
