Garmin Connect - Running Option

Can I feedback about the Garmin connect app here?

I just got the FR945. Previously I am using the FR45.

For FR45, inside Garmin Connect there is Activity Options -> Running (below Audio Prompts). You can set an alert based on heart rate or pace from the mobile app.

Why is there no such option in FR945? I need to go into the watch to set the alerts which is a bit incovenient.

Those alerts are in the Audio Prompts itself?

Yes some alerts are in there but lacking the limit feature.

See for FR45. You can set a limit for pace or HR.

It is quite troublesome to set these limits on the watch.

Ah, never used those. Those was just general alerts.. not like those limit min/max things.

If they aren't on the connect app and are only watch I don't think you have any other option than use the watch and contact Garmin that why aren't they on the connect app.

Yeah I hope Garmin will incorporate this in the connect app for FR945.

Don't understand why the FR45 can implement but FR945 which is the more premium cannot implement this.

I mean as much as possible, users prefer to change or update settings on the phone instead of clicking on the watch.

I have those options on my Connect Mobile app.
Using on IOS. App version 4.32.0.30.

But I don't know if I understand correctly which option you are looking for.

Yes it's the same on my Android.

On the FR45, you can set an alert to run in zone 2.

For example, 150-165. If outside, there is an alert.

You can set 5:30 to 5:40 min/km. If outside, there is an alert.

There is more missing from the (iOS) App: if you set MoveIq to enabled, you can’t set the threshold time for walking and running before it starts recording as an activity.

Can Garmin include limit alerts from the connect app like the FR45?

Of course you can set alerts from Connect app, but FR945 is advanced running watch. It uses workout creator to create workouts with structure and goals.

For simple settings, you have to use Alerts option on the watch itself.
