Can I remove maps from watch ?

Hello,

Can we delete the original maps from the watch? If yes, how to proceed?
Can they be restored by downloading the maps again?

Yes this is perfectly feasible and actually what I did on my watch as I see no use in having maps on it.

Connect it to your PC and first do a backup of the GARMIN folder. Make sure you will never lose that backup just in case.

Then delete the big map files inside the Garmin folder, keep the timezone file!

If you want to restore them, just copy the files from your backup and perform a Garmin Express update afterwards.
