5.04 ANT/BLE update - major connection stability issues with Tacx Neo2/2T since update

Wondering if anyone else has run into similar issues. Ever since updating the ANT/Bluetooth to 5.04, I’ve been having major connection stability issues between my Tacx Neo2 and my 945. There’s no problem connecting to the trainer (the watch can connect to it from the other side of the house), but there are now significant dropouts of speed/cadence/power constantly throughout a ride unless I literally place the watch right beside the trainer on the floor (and then there’s fewer).

My friend with a Neo2T is showing the exact same problem, all starting at the same time.

I’ve attached some 5.04 vs previous screen grabs from Garmin Connect

Both trainers are running the latest firmware (.32). Both are being driven by TrainerRoad, and the power/cadence readings from the workouts are clean without any drop outs. All issues seem to be with the 945.

Known issue? Anything I can try? Barring a “fix”, is it possible to downgrade the software to previous version?

Thanks for any insight.
