Old maps

Hi.

I see there are a lot of discussion about the new topo maps here. Newest version seems to be 2020.10.

The version on my watch is 2018.20 and Garmin express don't find any new map updates.

I've tried deleting the old maps and even the xml file in root folder, none of it triggering map update to 2020.10, still on 2018.20.

Anyone having some suggestion to solving this? Thanks in advance.

If your device is eligible for an update, you should be offered it. Do you use the latest GE?

Also, you can log in to my.garmin.com and check device/map details in there.

Failing that, chat with support - via e-mail currently only - is your best port of call.

Thanks. I was checking my.garmin.com and it says version 2018.20. I got a refurbished unit from garmin a few weeks ago. My old unit was still listed there as well and the map version on my old unit says 2019.10. Think something gone wrong here with the RMA and refurbished unit in regard to the map updates. I will contact garmin so they can fix this.
