Hi, I am trying to update map by Garmin Express (via USB) in my watch, but during downloading/installing something goes wrong and process finished unsuccessfully :(
No in fact it goes exactly to 50% then does something and failed. Is that 50% like downloading the map, and another 50% to copy it to watch or what.
I get the same n a 945, with a clean download folder it get to 50%, if I retry it gets to about 30%.
In the log I can see:

The strange thing is that it looks like it finished downloading the files from the servers and is trying to install on the watch when the error occur.
If you remove the downloads in
C:\ProgramData\Garmin…
But now after instalation my watch got stuck on 'loading maps'...
Any ideas...?
Same here.. 5 minutes around halfway.. It's known issue.. Reinstall reinstall reinstall, then after some reinstall it will work normally.
Why is this just so crap.. :(
I had all mentioned above issues. Failed installation around 50% mark. Quick fix - restarted watch and installation completed without any further issues. After that - loading maps took around 30 minutes. So be patient.
Umm.. I'm sceptical. Did soft reset after that first long load and now it have taken forever.. like around 30minutes. Do I try to reinstall or normal power cycle.. and possible wait again long time..
This just feels like the error situation that I had after some map install.. and reinstalling fixed it.
But after 3 normal reboots.. it's slow.. it's faster than hard reset, but it's taking much much more time than the normal boot. 2 minutes and 26 seconds. This is not normal.. :(
So let's do the reinstall, reinstall.. and then some time it will work again normally :(
