Connection Issues with Phone

Hello all,

Since yesterday I've been having major connectivity issues with my Garmin not connecting with my phone (samsung S20 Ultra).

I've tried all the steps recommended online, but still my phone doesn't want to install the watch anymore (it was working fine until then).

Steps I've tried:

  • Turning both the Watch and the phone off multiple times
  • Resetting bluetooth on the phone
  • Deleting the "old" connection with the watch, trying to reinstall it.
  • I've connected the watch to Garmin Express. It is running on the latest software
  • Reinstalled Garmin Connect on the phone
  • EDIT; Also tried doing a system reset to factory settings...

The issue it seems to be having: The phone is seeing the watch, and it is trying to connect with it. But when it starts trying to install the watch, it just gives an error after 1-2 minutes.

Any ideas on here on what I can do would be appreciated Slight smile
